D2D Discharge to defrost system

During the D2D defrosting process, compressed gas from the compressors is used to defrost the evaporators. This practical and economic adaptation of the standardised refrigeration system concept allows for cost-effective refrigeration and defrosting in one common circuit while always maintaining a safe temperature range.

Product features

The D2D defrosting process [Discharge t(w)o Defrost] uses the hot gas discharged from the compressors to defrost the evaporators. The discharge lines of the medium and low temperature multicompressor refrigeration system are connected so that, for defrosting purposes, hot gas is fed directly from the medium temperature unit into the suction line of the low temperature unit.

This ensures high temperature safety with low energy consumption. Through the two-pipe system, all refrigeration points can be defrosted simultaneously, or in clusters as required.

  • Interconnected refrigeration circuits for medium and low temperature
  • only one condenser required
  • only one refrigerant receiver required
  • only one discharge and condensate line
  • Low connected electrical load
  • Low operating costs
  • Stress-free defrosting process for quality-preserving of goods, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
  • Less time and expense for installation compared to 3-line defrosting process
  • Control via VS3010 BS/ VS3010

EcoTEV – Electronically controlled Thermostatic Expansion Valve

EcoTEV combines cost-effective thermostatic expansion valves with the control-oriented optimisation potential of electronic expansion valves – to reduce energy costs and improve temperature stability.

Product features

The EcoTEV principle is based on having the cost-efficient TEV sensor in the supply air instead of at the evaporator outlet and thus guarantees analogue constant control of the cabinet temperature.

  • Very high stability of temperature at refrigeration points through constant operation
  • Raises evaporating temperatures by up to 2K compared to standard systems
  • Energy-saving continuous operation of evaporators for medium and low temperature display cases
  • Low compressor operation and thus increased service life of compressors due to even suction pressure
  • Control of optimum evaporating pressure by sending the heating degree to the VS3010 controller
  • Constant detection of overheating and closing of magnetic valve in the liquid line if threshold not reached
  • TEV closes when heating is switched off and opens completely when heating degree is at 100%.
  • Existing systems with thermostatic expansion valves can also be retrofitted with EcoTEV.

Accessories

  • Automatic monitoring of refrigeration system through the LDS system (Long Distance Service)
